My name is David. This site is what you'd get if you asked a friend who's really into cinema what to watch tonight. Sometimes serious, sometimes silly, sometimes a little pretentious.

There are plenty of places to find those. This is a curated list, built from my own movie and film watching. It's meant to feel a little exclusive without being snobby: if it's here, I think it's worth your evening. My hope is you'll learn to trust it.

A few rare things score high on both. That's allowed, and it's why picking "Film" doesn't mean homework.
